The Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración y la Modernidad, known widely as MUVIM, is one of the most important museums in Valencia and one of the most used to present some of the temporary exhibitions, which are some of the world´s most important.
The building was built by the architect Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra and it´s one of the best and most important buildings of contemporary construction that exist in the city of Valencia. This makes that many of the visitors that go to the museum don´t only go for the exhibitions but also to get to know the exterior of the building, which is just as imposing as the interior.
The place was built with the original idea of presenting works that began to be presented in the 18th century until today, at it tries to explain the way that different societies see life today and how they understand it.
MUVIM is divided in three different rooms (Exhibition Room, Conference Room and Educational Workshop) where they divide the different exhibitions that are presented during the year.
