The Naprstek Museum, which is located in the city of Prague, goes through the cultures that are far away from the place but, despite that, it´s one of the most visited ones because it has a collection of different ethnicities and cultures that are outside Europe.
The place was born thanks to Vojta Naprstek who was a man from the 19th century who was very important in its time and who decided to establish an industrial museum to show how the workers worked in the Czech industries. Despite that, the museum changed little by little and ended up being ethnographic. The man bought and presented in its exhibitions all the works and objects that he´d acquired throughout his travels.
In little time, the museum introduced the visitor to cultures that were completely different, like ones from North and South Africa, archeological elements and even prehistoric and ancestral ones. But it also possesses many objects that are related to Asian and American cultures to present the differences with the European ones.
The place presents over 95 thousand objects and, if you want to see them and enjoy them to introduce yourself to far away and completely different cultures, you can rent apartments in Prague and enjoy, as well, a beautiful city full of history.
