Elio e le Storie Tese concert in Rome
Elio e le Storie Tese: a band that no Italian born in the 80s does not know. Stefano Belisario, aka “Elio”, founded the band in Milan during those years but, in fact, the first core of the band is older, and originated in high school in 1975, when Belisarius and two other classmates ( one of which is now the manager of the band) performed in front of ten retired citizens, a mini-concert. Since that day, Belisarius was nicknamed “Elio”, title of the song he sang. In subsequent years, the band has changed its components and and has become more and more popular and it all started with the editing of bootleg demos and playing in a music center in Milan known as the Zelig.Success with Elio e le Storie Tese was achieved thanks to their numerous television appearances, and in particular at the International Song Festival of San Remo (the most popular pop music event known in Italy) in 1996. The final formations is composed of eight members: the aforementioned frontman Belisario Stefano, Nicola Fasani (bass), Christian Meyer (drums), Davide Chivaschi (guitar), Sergio Conforti (keyboard), Antonello Aguzzi (keyboard), Vittorio Cosma (guitar) and Luca Mangoni, which actually is an architect and is responsible for the sets and choreography of the band. Elio e le Storie Tese is a favorite band of the younger generations of the mid-´90s, the decade that generated a true boom and certainly there have been those who recall the iconic theme “Tapparella”, as a song really to be considered an anthem for a generation. With his irony and his desire to make the audience laugh,...The Oil Shoppe Florence

Perejaume exhibits at La Pedrera in Barcelona
The name ´La Pedrera´ is what Casa Milà is informally known as, the famous building built at the beginning of the 20th century and that was finished in 1910. The architect was no less than the great Antoni Gaudí. Like all the works he directed, the modernist style building became an art icon and it´s visited every year by thousands of tourists who come from all over the world to attend the events that take place there. The building had been ordered by the Milà family, hence its name, but later became a public building where today there is a cultural institution with a very broad programme. From the 25th of October 2011 until the 26th of February 2012, the exhibition of the artist Perejaume is open to the public. With the peculiar title of ´Ai Perejaume, si veies la munió d´obres que t´envolten, no en faries cap de nova!´ (which translates as ´Oh, Perejaume, if you saw the amount of works that surround you, you wouldn´t make any more new ones!´), the exhibition holds a total of 200 works from the Catalan artist, one of the favourites of all time.
