Tate Gallery

The Tate Gallery is one of London´s most visited museums by tourists. The formal name of the museum is “National Gallery of British and Modern art in England” but, informally, every Londoner (and now the tourists) know it as the Tate.

 

Four museums are those that make up this National Gallery. One is the Tate Britain, that opened its doors for the first time in 1897, another is the Tate Liverpool, which was founded a century later in 1988, the Tate St. Ives in 1993 and the Tate Modern, the last one to open, in 2000.

 

The timetable to visit this beautiful museum is from 10am until 6pm. You can observe the permanent works of the museum and also the temporary exhibitions of different artists from around the world.
