Barcelona

La Boquería is Barcelona’s best-known market, but if you visit the Santa Caterina Market instead, you’ll avoid the hordes of tourists and be able to shop like Barcelonans do. You’ll feel like a true local in the Catalan capital and get access to the best ingredients for a dinner worthy of Master Chef in your very own apartment.

 

Paris

The best part about traveling is discovering how the locals live and feeling the true essence and rhythm of your destination also at night. Visit the Ufo Bar at night and sample one of its delicious cocktails (they specialize in rum based cocktails) to the sound of live music in a 100% local atmosphere.

 

Rome

Rome, Italy, at 8am: locals drink their espressos standing at the bar before work. A true OnlybeFrom moment. Tazza d’Oro is much more than a cafeteria; it’s a coffee mecca. To order your Roman coffee like you’ve lived there all your life, you have to be very precise and take the following into account: for an espresso, ask for un caffè; if you’d like it with a splash of milk, ask for un caffè macchiatto. Istanbul

Take an afternoon off to sip Turkish chai while you gaze at the Maiden’s Tower: Istanbul’s oldest tower, used in antiquity as a princess’ bastion. On sunny days, locals gather on the stairs, sat on the soft and colorful cushions, taking in the magical views. You’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into one of the One Thousand and One Nights stories.

 

Amsterdam

It may not sound too creative but if you want to feel the true essence of Amsterdam, you have to explore the city by bike. Grab a picnic basket, your favorite book, your headphones, and spend an afternoon at the Vondelpark.

 

London

The English Football League held its first edition in 1888, and ever since, the English simply adore a good match. If you want to enjoy some “football” in London, or if you simply want to experience this aspect of English culture, you have a couple of options: watching a game in a pub (you’ll enjoy it even more with a pint of beer and a portion of chips), or going for the real thing at one of London’s football stadiums.

 

Seville
