Venice is one of the most beautiful and famous cities from around the world. This tradition began to take place between the years 1480 and 1700, a time where the city´s aristocracy dressed up to go out and mix with the people. For this reason, the masks are an element which cannot be left out if you want to be part of the carnival. The costumes that are used are those which were used in the 18th century and the ´maschera nobile´ is especially used, a mask which has a completely white face with black silks and a three pointed hat.
