Glòries is another of the many shopping centres that you can visit in Barcelona. The place, which takes its name because it´s situated right in front of Plaça de les Glòries, is one of the biggest shopping centres in the city. If you like restaurants with history the best thing you can do is go to La Font de Prades, which opened in 1969 and it´s situated in a beautiful part of Barcelona called Poble Espanyol. This place characterizes itself for presenting the most exclusive and traditional Mediterranean foods from the region with many Catalan recipes and products which accompany them, as well as an exceptional wine list.
