Richard Morris Hunt was the father of American architecture and, for that, has his own monument on Fifth Avenue in the city of New York. The memorial monument to Richard Morris Hunt finds itself in Central Park and it´s visited every day by thousands of people that go there for a walk in the open air. He was the creator of the Metropolitan Art Museum and many other institutions. He founded the American Institute of Architects, of which he was the president of. The sculptor of the monument was Daniel Chester French, who designed as well as the monument itself, the building that surrounds it: a semicircular porch with columns and other sculptures that accompany it. Ca´ Pesaro is an imposing palace with a baroque construction in the middle of Venice, in front of the Gran Canal. The Ponte dei Sospiri, that means The Bridge of Sighs in Italian, is a bridge located in Venice which is made out of limestone and it possesses two windows made out of stone as well. It was designed by the architect Antonio Contino and its construction began in 1602. The Museum of the Moving Image is a multimedia museum located in Astoria, in the city of Queens in New York, where there used to be the Kaufman Astoria Studios. The place opened originally in 1988 as the American Museum of the Moving Image but, with time, it changed its name to the one it carries now. In 2008, it started a remodelation that cost US$67 million which concluded in January 2011 and was done by the architect Thomas Leeser. The original idea of the museum was to expand the knowledge to the public and also the appreciation of the art, history, techinque and technology used in cinema, television and the digital media through recollection and preservation of artifacts related to the subject.
