Despite being part of Catalan modernism, La Sagrada Família, like all of Gaudí´s works, is unique and personal. Loyal to his style, Gaudí devised La Sagrada Família as a forest whose trees are the columns that divide the basilica sustaining its arches. The cloister that surrounds it is used for processions. The work began in 1882 when Gaudí was only 31 years old, and it prolonged for practically all of the architect´s life. In the 1990s, the reconstruction of the temple began. Currently, the temple is open to the public and it receives a large number of visitors. The reconstruction has raised a great debate among those who believe that the unfinished temple represents Gaudí´s spirit better, and those who want to see it finished. In the crypt we can also find Gaudí´s grave, that you can visit during the celebration of mass. Today, the temple is part of Barcelona´s Skyline, and it figures in practically every representative image of Barcelona. The genius of the Catalan architect is represented in every one of the little corners of this work. The visitor always ends up amazed. If you want to visit the temple, stay over in apartments in...

To many, flamenco is one of the most important traditions in Sevilla. Many people get together (a lot more a few decades ago although the tradition is still preserved) in the “tablaos” (restaurants where they dance) to enjoy this art with their friends, partners or family. In the 18th century the Casa de Palacio was built which is where the Museum of Flamenco Dance currently is and its an institution in which the visitors will be able to submerge themselves in this mysterious, sensual and passionate world. The museum opened its doors the public in 2006 and the original idea was of the famous dancer Cristina Hoyos who was born, raised and grew up in the same street where the museum is.
