Le China was, during over 15 years, one of Paris´ most important bars and despite now not being as important like some time ago, millions of people still frequent it every year, not only for the mystique that surrounds it but to enjoy some of the most delicious cocktails in the city. The bar is in the area of the Bastille and Le China, with a colonial decoration that was devised with the intention of reminding one of the city of Shanghai in the 30s, is among the best. The interior and its discreet decoration converts it a perfect place for intimate relations. Occupying an old room of the adjacent rectory of the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the Cenacolo Vinciano Museum houses not just any of Leonardo da Vinci´s works, one of the most important artists and geniuses in the history of mankind, but it houses “The Last Supper”, one of his most acclaimed paintings. This makes that the museum is visited by millions of people every year. The painting in question is painted in one of the walls of the place and, because of environmental deterioration, it had to go through various phases of restoration that were done in different scientific methods. The last one was in 1999 where they tried to revive the original colours. The Cenacolo Vinciano Museum offers its visitor a guide that will explain everything that he observes or, in any case, an audioguide. And also, like in the majority of the museums, there´s a shop where you can buy souvenirs of the place. The museum is located in the Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, in the Corso Magenta and you can arrive there by metro, tram or bus without any inconvenient. If you want to visit the place and enjoy one of Leonardo da Vinci´s most important works, you can rent apartments in...

La Fenice Theatre is one of the most famous opera theatres in the world. Inside thousands of premieres of plays have been performed and from there, they´ve gone to play all over the world. It´s situated in the historic centre of the city of Venice and its architecture, both interior and exterior, is a delight for all to see. Its name means “Phoenix Theatre” in English and there isn´t a tourist that leaves the city without going there and seeing it inside. The theatre currently operates as an opera theatre and everyone can go to the plays that are performed , although the price of the tickets isn´t cheap (like in all operas in general). But its building suffered various attacks since its construction in 1792 up until today. In 1837 the theatre caught fire and was completely destroyed. A year later it was rebuilt and it survived the two world wars. It held on until 1996 when, due to remodelation works, it also caught fire. Even though it´s been built and rebuilt a few times, the theatre has always preserved its architecture of yesterday and today. To visit this great theatre rent apartments in...

Rive Gauche is the left shore of the river Seine that divides Paris in two parts. Rive Droite is more associated to the city centre but, what tourists like the most is walking on the “left shore” because it was the artistic cradle for various famous painters and writers of today. For example, Pablo Picasso lived in this area of paris and, at night, went for a drink with Rimbaud or Jean-Paul Sartre. Ernest Hemingway also went through the Rive Gauche in Paris and all of his prints cant be followed if one walks through the Montparnasse district. Also, the Latin Quartier is located in this shore of the city and today it´s famous for its good parties, it´s joy and, above all, its cultural diversity. In Rive Gauche, one of the most important and famous streets is Boulevard Saint-Germain that goes through three districts of Paris and where many artists lived; Boulevard Saint-Michel was also a stage of living for, for example, Paul Mounet who died in 1922 in number 63 of this street and where today there´s a commemorative plaque. For all this flow of history and arte that Rive Gauche has, all tourists dedicate two or three days to see the area and walk through its beautiful boulevards. To enjoy it better, rent apartments in Paris and feel like Picasso, Rimbaud or Mounet by walking the streets of...
