Antico Dolo was born in 1989 thanks to an idea by Bruno Ruffini, who is a native Venetian that, after 30 years working in catering for different companies or events, decided to acquire this historic restaurant in the city of Venice close to the Rialto Bridge.
Antico Dolo is a place in Ruga Vecchia San Giovanni, also known as the Rialto street in the area of the fish, vegetables and fruit market. For this reason the majority of the products that are used come from this market and the dishes that they prepare in this place are synonymous to freshness.
Very quickly, the client satisfaction was obvious and the place became more and more popular. Actually, thanks to this, it received various awards from different specialized magazines and the place became more important. It also appears in the Michelin Guide, where only the finest restaurants in the world appear.
For these reason, if you want to visit a place where they prepare some of the most exquisite dishes in the city, you have to rent apartments in Venice and not miss out on the chance of going to Antico Dolo.
