It´s not a beautiful place, just a market stall where many workers, carriers and sellers go to. Inside the tables are small, with checkered tablecloths and dim lighting because it´s lit with candles. Its brick walls are full of portraits of the characters who have visited the place during its long life. Both the food and the service, as well as the prices, are among the best in Florence. For around about 50 euros two people can eat abundantly and have a couple of glasses of wine.
Vini e Vecchi Sapori is a very small restaurant which is nearly goes unnoticed by the tourist, but which Florentine people know well for its good and cheap food. Located around the Piazza della Signoria, this place has slowly become a classic for those who look for good service and extraordinary food at good prices. So you will probably have to wait in the street for it to have a free table if you arrive any later than 12.30pm. Remember that it´s a modest place and they don´t take bookings. You should also be careful not to go past it because it has no reference which indicates it´s there.
Jazz-Club in Florence is a historical place which has been open for 25 years for the lovers of traditional jazz, fusion jazz, afro-cuban jazz, funk and blues. Italian and international artists have played on its stage. Its owner, Vicenio Ricchi, has turned this place into a French-style cellar where you can have a few drinks and accompany them with some house preparations. So that you can arrive without problems, it´s located on Via Nuova dei Caccini 3.
