De Avond Markt Amsterdam

De Avond Markt in Amsterdam is happy, and so it says clearly on its website, of being the most fun, cheap and biggest night shop in the whole city. Recently, they´ve also extended the times of the ovens that cook the bread and the delicious panottones (in the picture), the stars of the shop.

 

Therefore, all that you can buy here is equally as fresh, delicious and crunchy at 9am, 5pm or 3am. Aside from the bread, their speciality, they have cheeses, meats, flour, wines, drinks (Dutch beer of course), delicatessen assortments, ice creams… and a very long etcetera.

 

So the traveller who arrives at unearthly hours to this beautiful city in the north of Europe, dominated by its canals and bicycles, won´t have any problem in stocking up for what he needs to prepare dinner or a light snack in one of the apartments in Amsterdam that he had booked in advance, because De Avond Markt doesn´t close and stocks local and international products to locals and foreigners who are in the city.

 

You can also opt to rest and go there the next morning to buy their ready-made bread made at De Avond Markt.
