One of the most important design schools in Germany is, undoubtedly, the Bauhaus school where many important designers of today that are known worldwide came out of.
For that reason, the Bauhaus Archiv/Museum Für Gestaltung that was devised, designed and created by Walter Gropius, the founder of said school, is one of the most important design museums in the German city. The museum in question was designed in an elegant way trying to show, in one way or another, which is the sentiment which is taught in Bauhaus.
The permanent exhibition the it possesses presents furniture, ceramics, prints, sculptures, photographies and sketches created in the school from 1919 to 1933, the year it was closed down by the nazis.
