Paradiso

Paradiso is a club in Amsterdam that´s very complete, because it´s not only a place to dance and have fun but also a cultural centre, a place where bands and DJs from around the world play like, for example, Lady Gaga, who played there in 2009, or the White Stripes among others.

 

It opened for the first time in 1968 in a building that before used to be occupied by a church. And even though it was closed for a few years during the 80s, today this place has become the meeting point of art because musicians, dancers and other artists gather there daily to enjoy the Dutch nightlife.

 

The tourists are the first to arrive at Paradiso because there they find a relaxed place to end the day in the best way to the rhythm of the music.

 

But because Paradiso is not just any other club, many times we can find other artistic manifestations there, like the screening of a film, fashion shows or even a conference on science and art.
