This summer it´s been the grandparents golden wedding anniversary and they want to celebrate it as its due. As it always happens in the family, they´ve come to me to organize the trip. They already know what I like the most, especially when it´s a special occasion like this one.
A piece of advice given to me by an experienced traveller was that everything should be prepared well in advance, and that´s what I do. From home and comfortably, I checked out all the options and I ended up deciding upon Amsterdam, an ideal place to travel with the family.
I did it all online, comfortably and relaxed, from the booking of the flight tickets and the apartments in Amsterdam (beautiful, actually) to our small and singular fleet of cars (at Taxi-Bus Schiphol, highly recommended), which took us from the airport to our accommodation for a week.
Booking transport from the airport was one of the best ideas I´ve had (together with the apartments because, with so many people, it was the only way to get organized), because we didn´t have to queue for a taxi, we had no surprises in the fare and everything booked in advance.
They were waiting for us practically next to the runway and they took us comfortably to the centre where the apartments were for the whole family.
