If we decide to go to Amsterdam, the first thing that comes to our head are its multiple leisure areas thought just for adults (from the Red Light District to the spots where they allow certain substance intakes), but the Dutch capital is a perfect destination for travelling families with children.
This small City of the Canals enjoys an exquisite public spirit that is shown not only in its cared for public spaces (such as Vondelpark, already pointed out in this guide) or in its never ending bicycle lane miles, but, also, in places for the younger ones in the family, and one of those places is one of the most charming theme parks in the world: Efteling.
Here, they recreate the atmosphere of fairytale stories and the enchanted forests, taking the whole family back to a world of fantasy, with gnomes, princesses, elves and forest nymphs.
