Dine with the Dutch

Dine with the Dutch isn´t a restaurant in itself but it´s something that all tourists like or, at least, gets their attention. It´s exactly what its name says.

 

The tourists can go and make an appointment to eat in a Dutch family household. Everything is done through the website of this project but the idea is so good and original that many foreigners prefer it to a restaurant.

 

This way what one gets to see is what Amsterdam families are like, how the live, how they related and what they eat. And the best thing is that the food is homemade and is prepared by the host family.

 

The families can be of any type, there´s a list to choose from according to preferences and styles. There can be a family of two gays or a 70 year old couple. That´s what the tourist chooses and that´s also what makes it nice and interesting.

 

The price to pay is around 50 euros, but it´s worth it as an experience. If you want to get to know this beautiful city in Holland, rent apartments in Amsterdam and stay for a few days and come to see its wonderful culture.
