Christmas concert in Rome

A wonderful show for this Christmas in Rome by the ´Accademia Filarmonica Romana´, who will perform their already famous Christmas concert, a show which is lived in a special and magical way in the Italian capital. On this occasion, the choir of the philarmonic will offer the attendants of the Olympic Theatre in Rome a concert of the best selection of traditional Christmas music from all times and places. ´La Accademia´ was founded in 1821 by a group of noble musicians of the time. Since the 19th century, it has been tied to classic music, fomenting and organizing concerts, opera, chamber concerts, ballet, theatre and other related shows. The institution collaborates regularly with other private and public Italian and foreign institutions to foment the creation and staging of classical shows. Since the 1960s, it has been united to the Olympic Theatre in Rome. The Christmas concert is one of the most traditional in the city, and therefore it´s an event which is worth witnessing at least once in your lifetime. So if you´re planning to spend the new year festivities in Rome, think about coming to such a beautiful concert. It will take place on the 22nd of December at 9pm, and the tickets have an only price of 33 euros, anticipated. I recommend that you buy your tickets as soon as possible because it will be very difficult to purchase them on the same day at the theatre´s ticket offices. The location, as I mentioned before, is the Olympic Theatre of Rome, and its address is: Piazza Gentile da Fabriano, 17, Rome. As well as enjoying a beautiful... read more
